Confirm the pregnancy
A pregnancy test confirms whether pregnancy hormone is present. A limited ultrasound may be appropriate for some clients to estimate pregnancy length and check that the pregnancy appears to be in the uterus.
Understand the procedure and follow-up
Ask a licensed provider what will happen before, during, and after the procedure. Make sure you know how to reach the provider, what symptoms are expected, and where to go for urgent medical care.

Check current Florida requirements
Florida law regulates abortion timing, consent, and other requirements. Because laws can change, review the current statute and ask a qualified medical or legal professional how it applies to your situation.
